About Me

I’m Gemma and I’m a 30 year old SAHM to Izzie (born 2010), Ollie (born 2012) and Mason (born 2015) and wife to Ell. I am also an Angel Mummy to Sophie, who was sadly born sleeping in February 2012. I love being at home with my children, although at times they drive me mad (find me a mum who doesn’t say that). A little about me – I love anything beauty or fashion related and try to make an effort even though most mornings its a miracle if we get out the door on time. I love interiors, and am always plotting a project (or ten) around the house. Finally, taking photographs is a growing passion of mine – I’m not brave enough yet to take the camera off of auto mode, but I will learn how one day. I’ve always loved to write, and as a teenager always kept a diary. Even now I’m always partial to a new notebook or some stationary!

This is my family and my whole world…

I first started this blog (lets face it, I came up with the name) when Ollie was little, and I wrote a couple of posts and lost inspiration. I relaunched my blog in the Summer of 2016, and I’ve enjoyed finding out about the wonderful world of blogging.

I have also ventured into the world of vlogging – you can find me over on YouTube (link below). I am hoping to grow my blog and my YouTube channel over the next year, although most of my sharing of day to day life is done on Instagram.

I love capturing our day to day memories, and special moments, alongside the world of being Mum, and everything that comes with it. My only regret is that I wish I had started earlier, and recorded the memories of my children from them being tiny. I also blog about baby loss and our rainbow babies.

Here are a few of my favourite posts to date:

Please feel free to follow/like/subscribe – I would love to have you.

I am currently a Brand Ambassador for Childs Farm, and am always looking for new brands that myself and the kids can work with. I was also delighted to take part in the Tommy’s Movements Matter Campaign, in October this year – it is obviously a cause very close to my heart.

If you would like to work with me, I would love to hear from you. You can get in touch with me on any of the social media links above, or by emailing me somewhereaftertherainbow@gmail.com

Thankyou for visiting my little corner of the internet….
