2017 – Our Year In Photos

Happy New Year and welcome back! I’ve been quiet on here throughout December, as I took part in Vlogmas. Uploading videos every day up until Christmas was hectic, and a huge learning experience. I captured so many memories and it was wonderful to take part in. It did make me realise how much I love Youtube, but I also missed blogging, and particularly taking photographs. I am gutted that I missed uploading our Me & Mine Project for December, but I literally took no family photos all month. With that in mind, I thought I would do a round up…

The Siblings Project – November 2017

The last month from October to November  has again been a whirl of hectic family life. Clubs, homework and school runs are our normal these days. I think with the weather getting colder (and the in the run up to Christmas) snuggling on the sofa and keeping warm has been our main goal this month. When we can we like to try and get out for some fresh air – especially with the dog. All three of the kids get so excited when they see that ‘Jack Frost’ has been in the mornings too. The Me & Mine Project – August 2017

It is the end of the August – and nearly the end of the summer holidays. They have totally flown by. Tomorrow is September, the month where everything will change forever. We’ve had such a lazy…

This year was Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas!   We had my best friends daughters first birthday party on the Sunday, the day before Halloween – she is a Halloween baby, so the kids got to dress up two days in a row. It was a bit of a nightmare to get them all looking for a photo and this was the best I could get haha!    …

Autumnal Living Room Mini Makeover

Our house is generally cosy, as it is small, and there are five of us, plus a dog and a cat living in it. To be honest though, I like it that way. It easy to keep clean, and, being a terraced new build, it is always lovely and warm. Our electric and gas bills are also very low. Win! Our living room is mostly decorated in a pale grey/creamy colour with a mauve feature wall. Our sofa is mauve and we have a cream carpet. In in the summer I love it, as it is light and our floral…

Things to do in Autumn 2016

Autumn and Winter are my favourite seasons – I’m definitely a colder weather girl – I love being able to warm up and hate feeling hot and bothered. Go to a Bonfire and Firework display Go on Welly walks with Harley Look for conkers Carve a pumpkin (Daddy’s specialty) Dress up for Halloween Pumpkin display on the fireplace Puddle jumping Make leaf bunting Take…
