“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran I am going to sound like the worlds worst mother, but I’ve been finding that I dread Thursdays. Thursday is the day that Ollie doesn’t go to preschool. It’s also the day that Izzie has Forest School so doesn’t need picking up until 4.30pm. It alway seems like such a long day. “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran I love the photos that I’ve taken for this weeks Living Arrows. The last 10 days have been unbelievable, even by our households recent spate of illness. Last week Izzie started off a new tummy bug, followed by Mason. I got it Friday, and am still feeling the effects now. It even took Ell down. Ollie is luckily still standing. Tuesday this week was Valentines Day. We are not big Valentines celebrators I have to say – it seems like the money could be better spent elsewhere. Our plans for…

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran Surprise, surprise, the illness is still lingering – this week a slight temperature for Izzie. Luckily it was easily controlled with Calpol, and she was more than happy to get out of the house on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day, and we went for a lovely walk in the village I grew up in and where my parents still live. I love seeing my kids playing at the same park that I played at growing up – Izzie is mastering kicking her legs…
