Disclosure: We were kindly sent these lovely toys in exchange for a honest review – all photographs and opinions are my own. When an email dropped in to my inbox a little while ago, asking if we would like to be Play Panel Ambassadors for Melissa and Doug, I jumped at the chance. We first became fans of Melissa and Doug about 9 years ago when Izzie was a baby and my mother in law bought her a gorgeous M&D Abacus for a present. Unlike a lot of toys, that Abacus is still going strong now, despite being played with…

Disclosure: I was kindly gifted one SwimFin and the Floaties in exchange for an honest review and as part of our brand ambassadorship with Swimfin for 2019. All opinions and photographs are my own.  As a child I was lucky to have weekly swimming lessons at school, and since growing top and having my own children both me and my husband both love the water and have always encouraged our children to swim. This went well with our eldest Izzie, now 9 who had lessons and was a total water baby, but failed slightly with our second child Ollie, now…

Disclosure: I was kindly gifted the AMAWrap in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and photographs are my own.  Having four children means that I’m massively outnumbered. Being able to have my hands free to hold on to little people who are a flight risk is really important (if you’ve met my four year old you’ll understand what I mean). I realised this when I had three children and I quickly became a fan of baby wearing. Before I had Mason in 2015 I had dabbled in different slings and had soft wrap type sling with both the boys…

I remember the days of being early pregnant with my first baby back in 2009 and extensively researching every little thing about pregnancy and babies. Fast forward nearly 9 years, and I’m three babies and four pregnancies down, in the middle of my fifth and that enthusiasm for the little details has long gone – mainly just because I’m so busy trying to keep on top of every day life, things like maternity bra shopping are way down the list.…

As a child I would’ve moved heaven and earth for a proper playhouse – I’ve always been a little homemaker at heart. Unfortunately I had to make do with my Dads shed – which in fairness he let us paint and rearrange until our hearts content – but I also had to share it with the firewood and a rogue mouse that used to chew up my ‘artwork’! The one thing I adore about my kids is their imagination, but their constant efforts at making a den out of my sofa cushions started to take its toll. It became my…

As a child some of my favourites memories were our holidays to Devon in a static caravan – and for Ell, although his family stayed in Cornwall. It’s actually a tradition we’ve carried on since having our own children – they love caravan holidays, and they love Cornwall. We were so excited to be invited for a weekend stay at Trevornick, Holywell Bay in one of their brand new static caravans.  Trevornick is a 5* family owned site 5.5 miles from Newquay, with over 600 camping and touring pitches, 36 fully equipped Eurotents, and from the start of the 2018…
