All I Want For Christmas… perfect present ideas for her*

*that I would REALLY love (*hint hint wink wink*)

I’m sat under a blanket compiling this list. It’s a Monday morning, I’ve got two poorly boys, one who is home from school, and I’m feeling not so great myself. I’ve been in a lot of pain with a cyst on my ovary – the first I’ve had in nearly three years – and I’ve had to cancel a planned trip to London on Wednesday, where I was going to be visiting Youtube HQ.

I needed some serious cheering up, and so thought I would write my Christmas list – my mum has been asking for a while now – and then I’d thought I’d share, incase anyone else was looking for some inspiration. I know as a mum of three little people, we as parents often but ourselves on the back burner, in favour of making Christmas special for everyone else. Sometimes being a mum is a thankless job  – aside from being paid in hugs and kisses which actually I am more than happy with. Sometimes we need to be spoilt too.

So with that in mind, I’ve scoured all my favourite stores, and put together my perfect Christmas wishlist…

Next Wishlist

Clockwise from left:

Pyjamas – both pairs are gorgeous (I swear by Next for Pjs) but I especially love the pair on the right – the pj bottoms (RRP £15) have little wintery animals all over and the top (RRP £24) looks super fleecy and snuggly. I spend 90% of my time in PJs especially over the Christmas period so these would be a very welcome present.

Black Tassel Earrings – I was so lucky to be invited to a Next blogger event back in September, and was given a gorgeous goodie bag (you can read about it here), and in it was some gorgeous yellow tassel earrings. I would love this black pair (RRP£ 10) for New Years eve – they would be perfect with my LBD.

Cashmere Socks –  along with comfy PJs, I love a good pair of socks – my first thought was that they match my bedding – but these look super soft and cosy – and perfect for snuggling on the sofa and watching Christmas TV. They come in a pack of 2 and for cashmere they are a bargain for £12.

Pom Pom Knitted Throw – I am OBSESSED with this, but can’t really justify buying it for myself as I don’t really need it. I love a pom pom, and am always after a warm blanket – I’m always cold. I would be a happy girl to find this under the tree from Santa. (RRP £40)

Joules Wishlist

Clockwise from top left:

Fairisle Hat (RRP£24.95 ), Socks (RRP £9.95) and Gloves (RRP £19.95) – I love the mustard and cream colour way of these – and I love matching accessories. These look so wintery, but also have a pop of bright colour which is perfect for the dreary January days ahead.

They also did a matching scarf in the Fairisle print, but I picked out this one (RRP£34.95) as it could be worn into Spring when the mornings are still chilly. Mustard and Grey go so well together, and I love the different tones in this scarf.

I actually have this cream jumper in two other colours, and can’t link it as I saw it in my local Joules Outlet, but they are the warmest jumpers and I love the fit – if you have an outlet near you I would highly recommend checking it out.

Finally, I am in love with this Fedora (RRP £39.45). I’m a huge fan of a hat, and living in the Cotswolds dahhhhling, I feel like this hat needs to be part of my winter wardrobe.

‘Everything Else’ Wishlist

Clockwise from left

Selfish Mother Mama Sweatshirt in Berry (RRP £50.00)-  I have a lot of these jumpers – they look great, are really practical for a busy mum and they are so warm in the winter months and perfect to throw on for the school run and not to mention that the FMLY store supports so many wonderful charities with their products. This new Berry colorway caught my eye – this is one of my favourite colours, and I love the hot pink writing on it. It would also be another excuse to pop down to the Selfish Mother store which isn’t far from me in Somerset.

Kikki K Planner (Large RRP £54.00) – I already have one of these that I have used to death and it is starting to become a little tatty. It is the only planner I’ve stuck with for more than a couple of months, and it really helps me get organised. I would be lost without mine. I was also excited to see that you can pay to have your initials monogrammed onto it too.

Benefit City Light Party Nights (RRP £24.50) – I’ve been wanting to try the Benefit Dandelion Shimmer Highlighter for ages and this gift set seems great value for money – and the travel sized versions of my favourites always come in handy for holiday.

Finally, I ask for this every year, as I love the SNOW FAIRY fragrance and it is only available around Christmas time. This gift set contains four products, including the snow fairy body conditioner which is one of my all time favourites. It is £24.95 and I imagine will be quick to fly off the shelves.

I hope this post has given you some inspiration fro your own Christmas lists – let me know in the comments below what you are asking Santa for? I’d love to know. I will be more than happy if i get a couple off these ideas in my stocking!
