This weeks photo is Ollie dressed up for May Dancing at his preschool.
Honestly I got a little lump in my throat at the cuteness of it all – the outfit, the bows and the dancing, and the beautiful May Arch made of flowers.
I remember doing May dancing at school, I can’t say it was my favourite thing as even at a young age the costumes made me cringe but I have happy memories of it. It’s a shame not a lot of schools do it anymore – Izzie’s doesn’t, but it was lovely to watch Ollie and his friends dance.
My mum also loved it too – she also remembers doing it at school.
Ollie looked so smart and grown up and he danced so lovely – especially as they did it in front of all the older children from the school. I was a really proud mummy.

Oh that outfit!! So sweet, and how lovely that they still do that with the little ones! xx
Oh how sweet. Our school doesn’t do it, but lots of my friends said their children have done. I remember doing it with brownies, so no dodgy oufits and general country dancing which was just smart wear.

Oh my gosh, how cute is he!? I love traditions like the May Pole, they don’t do anything like that around here sadly x
