“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran

I cannot not believe I’m writing AGAIN that it has been another week of illness in The Brushneen house. When does it end? Luckily this time it was only colds and sore throats for Izzie and Ollie, and nothing that a couple of days off of school, in the warm couldn’t fix.
Mason certainly liked having them at home, I think he finds it too quiet when it is just me and him. He is so cuddly with Izzie it is the cutest thing. He has really grown up before my eyes the last few weeks – he can now walk up and down the stairs, he walks outside a lot more now, although he is still happy to go in the pushchair (I am no where near to letting go of this stage yet) and he is loving playing with toys, especially the Duplo.
After three kids, our  Duplo collection is pretty huge, and all three of them love to play with it – I think I may have mentioned this last week – but this week I noticed Mason playing with it a lot more – previously he just tried to smash down what Izzie and Ollie had made. The creation in the front was Ollie trying to construct ‘Tracy Island’. Ollie isn’t creative, in the sense that if you gave him paint and paper, he would turn his nose up, but he loves building and constructing things. I didn’t manage to get any photos of him doing it though – he moves too fast. Instead here is Mason playing with the Duplo – and he didn’t demolish tracy Island, which was a bonus.

You cannot beat Duplo! We've progressed onto actual Lego now but still have a trusty box of Duplo too. We seem to be constantly sick in our house too – I blame school/preschool completely x
