“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran

Surprise, surprise, the illness is still lingering – this week a slight temperature for Izzie. Luckily it was easily controlled with Calpol, and she was more than happy to get out of the house on Saturday.

It was such a beautiful day, and we went for a lovely walk in the village I grew up in and where my parents still live.

I love seeing my kids playing at the same park that I played at growing up – Izzie is mastering kicking her legs as she swings – the swings haven’t long been replaced, and these are quite high up – she’s so little, she still needs Mummy to lift her on, bless her.

Ollie has all of a sudden mastered scooting. Last summer he cracked us up, as every time he wanted to go a direction that wasn’t in a straight line, he got off the scooter and turned it by lifting it to face the right direction – although why he thought riding in the pot holes was a good idea I’ll never know?!

I keep banging on about how grown up Mason seems at the moment – this was him going down the slide by himself – he climbed the steps, and managed to get his legs in front of him all on his own. The concentration on his face is brilliant.

I’m so glad this weeks Living Arrows Photos are bright and sunny – long may it last – although today it has gone back grey and cold again – gutted.
See who else has linked up with Donna and Living Arrows this week here…

Haha the scooter comment made me giggle, my daughter used to do the same when she first started scooting! Lovely photos – mine were taken at the park I used to go to as a child too 🙂 xx
