“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gibran
This weeks Living Arrows is a series of photos from our afternoon at the beach on Friday. The first time Mason had really played in the sand with a bucket and spade – on our last holiday he wasnt quite dexterous enough to work out the spade.
I love these photos – you can see his joy at throwing the sand in the air, and then his face at the end when we told him not to throw it. He had a wonderful time digging and filling in the holes that his brother and sister had dug and stamping down their sandcastles. After all what are younger siblings for if they can’t wreck everything you build!

The beach is so good for children, whatever the weather. N would spend hours on them.
These are really lovely photos and he looks like he's having a blast. I think I prefer the beach when its cooler like this.
Gorgeous photos! Love the look on his face as he's watching the sand fly! I love the beach so much and my son keeps asking to go – I think we need to sort out a trip soon! #LivingArrows
Oh what a lovely day on the beach. He is lovely his spade isn't he? It's great seeing them grow and develop x
