Mason turned 1 on Saturday 14th May 2016.
It is bittersweet when your final baby reaches their first birthday. I find myself looking forward to all the firsts left to come, but mourning the newborn stage, and the first smiles, and all the things I won’t get to experience with my babies again.
We had a small garden party with family and friends to celebrate, and as we had just finished laying the artificial grass not long before, I was so pleased with how the garden looked – we recycled the christening bunting for the 4th time and it made the garden look very festive.
It was such a lovely afternoon, and the weather was warm and sunny. It was lovely to catch up with everyone, and the BBQ went down particularly well (Ell’s specialty).
