Does anyone else with a seven year old ever feel like they have a mini teenager? Izzie is giving me some good glimpses of what the future holds – she’s obsessed with doing her hair, and what she wears already – although she does still let me pick her clothes for the most part. Most recently she has been utterly obsessed with the Netflix show MC2 – a show about a group of teenage girls who work for a female government organisation who are trying to protect the world. The series is very ‘geek chic’ – the girls all have…

*This is a collaborative post with Simply Supplements I know what you are thinking… she’s not pregnant? No I’m not (you can stop panicking now Ell). However during all my pregnancies, I suffered with the most horrendous morning sickness. I say morning sickness, I’m not sure who came up with that name – most likely someone who had never suffered from it. My sickness was all day and into the evenings – sometimes I would even wake up in the night feeling nauseous. It was always my first symptom of pregnancy too – I would start feeling nauseous before I’d…

I was recently asked to create a personalised phone case from Go Customized. They have a huge range on their websites for all different types of pohone from Apple to Samsung to HTC. It may be having young children, it may be the job that I do, but I love taking photos. Our house isn’t huge and so I struggle finding room to display my favourite ones. My phone is never far from my hand and I would quite honestly be lost without it. Therefore keeping it in one piece is important. I’ve had various phone cases in the past…

I enjoy it when it’s happening, and love that the kids enjoy it but then hate the mess and washing of the clothes afterwards. I have at points genuinely thought of taking out shares in stain removers as we go through so many. As Izzie and Ollie have got older…

I swear these posts come round quicker and quicker each month. We are well and truly into autumn now, although we are really enjoying some lovely mild weather. It seems like the last month has flown by. It always seems that way when the kids are at school. Life becomes a blur of school runs and homework and making sure the PE kits and swimming bags aren’t forgotten. I’m really looking forward to the holidays which will start on Wednesday, I can’t wait for a bit of a slower pace. I’m all too aware looking at these photos of the…

For the last 5 years I have been a stay at home mum. Mummy to two little people, later three. At home I am in my little bubble. I struggle from time to time as we all do. I spend my days with three people less than 3ft tall, lacking in adult conversation and always wondering whether I’m doing the right thing. That said I feel confident in my role as Mummy – I know that ultimately I am doing my best for them, and hopefully shaping them into the wonderful adults they will become. I found it hard for…
