What I’ve Learnt as a Mum of Three

Never get too excited for plans until they happen as a child will get ill/bump/tantrum – the amount of meals out/days out/nights out we’ve had to cancel because something has happened to one of them – but I wouldn’t be anywhere else obviously. Embrace the mess – your house will never be tidy again – I can get upstairs tidy, or downstairs but never both at the same time. And there is always a little person going behind you and pulling out what you’ve just put away. Or one encouraging another one to do it…. Organisation is key – Its the same for having kids generally, but with threee you…

{The Ordinary Moments} #1 New Year Dog Walk (kind of) and Goodbyes

Christmas 2016 was a strange one. We started the month with Mason being in hospital with Bronchiolitis, Ollie got an ear infection, and then came the sickness bugs of Christmas (less said about that the better). Our cars MOT was due to expire on the 29th December, and so we had it booked in to the garage. It needed new tyres and one of the tracking roads was broken. or car was stuck in the garage for three days waiting for a part. We were quite confined to the house, and the first time we managed to get out and…

UK Family Travel Bucket List 2017

I always write a list of places we want to visit at the beginning of the year – mainly places I would love to take photos of the kids. I thought this year I would share it so that at the end of the year we can look back and see what we managed to tick off. Ours are all UK based as I like to be able to pack up the car with all the junk we take with us! So here is my travel bucket list for 2017, some are new places, and some are places we have…

Blog Goals 2017

These are my goals for 2017. I’m not a rensolution maker, but I think the term ‘goals’ is more attainable…so by the end of 2017 I would like: •To vlog more and grow my YouTube channel – and to learn to edit faster, with the aim of uploading twice a week – I also really want a Canon G7X to help with that! Also I want to be able to add my channel to the Channel Mum list of Vloggers – I need to upload at least three times a month for this. •To learn more about Twitter and how…

The Me & Mine Project – December 2016

This month I’m so happy to be linking up, for the final month of 2016, with the wonderful Me & Mine Project. I was planning to take some photos of the five of us over Christmas with the tree as a backdrop, but this month has been so crazy busy, and then Christmas didn’t really go to plan – both myself and Izzie came down with a sickness bug on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and Ell felt a bit funny a few days after Christmas. In our Christmas lunch photo, you can see Izzie looking very pale – she…

2016 – A year of our family in photos | Year in Review

I thought I’d do a quick round up of our top moments from 2016. I only properly started writing blog posts in August, so some things have been included and you will have seen them, albeit most of them written at a later date. As i dont have a year of posts, I thought I would include my favourite memories for each month of 2016, which has been a pretty amazing year for the Brushneen Family… January    January was a quiet month, with plenty of Harley walks, and the completion of our photo wall – a project that had…
