Disneyland Paris March 2016 Day 2

We woke up early every morning of our Disneyland Holiday (6.30am) – we had two reasons for this – 1. If you get to breakfast any later than 7.15am the queues are stupidly long, and it turns into a bunfight, and 2. EXTRA MAGIC HOURS. If you are after a relaxing holiday, Disneyland is not the place for you. For anyone who hasn’t been to Disneyland Paris before, EMH is a huge perk of staying in a Disneyland hotel – you are allowed into the Disneyland park from 8am-10am before guests that aren’t staying in a Disney hotel. However ,…

Mummy Doubt

Monday 11th July 2016 We hear people talking about mummy guilt a lot, but what about mummy doubt? As a mum I feel like I spend a lot of my time questioning things. Am I making the right decisons? There is no instruction manual that comes with a baby. You can read all the pregnancy books you want, but nothing can really prepare for every aspect of being a parent. When Izze was born, neither myself or Ell had looked after a baby before – changed a nappy or anything. In the begining, we pretty much winged it and learnt…

Boondocks Festival July 2016

A selection of photos from the wonderful Boondocks Festival 2016 – an amazing weekend filled with friends, fun, face paint, flower crowns and food and drink – nearly all the F’s!!! This was the second year we had attended (we still didn’t brave camping!) but if you are local to Wiltshire, it is an amazing small, family festival, with designated kids areas, and the most AMAZING selection of food and drink. All three of my kids loved it again this year. We were lucky enough that my inlays baby sat for us on the Saturday evening, so we were able…

Disneyland Paris March 2016 – Day 1

We went on our third trip to Disneyland Paris on Monday 21st March 2016. *A bit of backstory – I had never been as  child, so in 2007 Ell took me for the first time. I tend to get homesick on holiday, but this was the first time I had been somewhere I didn’t want to leave. I really thought I couldn’t love somewhere more – until October 2013 when we took Izzie and Ollie for the first time. Seeing your children’s eyes light up at the sheer magic when you walk through the park gates is one of the…

Autumn Wishlist for Izzie

Izzie is my eldest but she is the ‘little’ one. Ollie is average for his age, and Mason is just a chunk, but Izzie has always been small. Because of this, she fits into clothes for AGES!! She has just turned six but wears age 4-5 clothes in Next, and age 5-6 in Joules. She has a lot of things from last year that still fit, but a bit of window shopping never hurt anyone…. Click for links… Clockwise from Top Left: Next Green/Pink Snuggle Fit Pyjamas Three Pack £22-£28 I have always sworn by Next PJs – the wash…

Cornwall 2016 – Big Camera photos

(WARNING: Photo heavy post) I am THE worst at getting out my proper camera, mainly because its bulky, also because I don’t really know how to use it properly (helloooooo auto mode), and finally because my iPhone is always there. When we were in Cornwall I made a conscious effort to try and take some – I have loads of empty frames at the moment that need filling. Below are some of the photos I took whilst on holiday in Cornwall in August 2016….you can never have too many seaside photos right? (These photos were taken between Looe, Praa Sands…
