2017 Goals and How I got on Last January I set myself some goals for my blog and youtube. The plan was to complete them by the end of 2017. Lets see how I got on… •To vlog more and grow my YouTube channel – and to learn to edit faster, with the aim of uploading twice a week – I also really want a Canon G7X to help with that! Also I want to be able to add my channel to the Channel Mum list of Vloggers – I need to upload at least three times a month for…

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Kahlil Gilbran   I can’t believe we are already in 2018. My living arrows participation tailed off towards the end of 2018, a combination of both spending more time on my youtube channel and therefore taking less photos, and also the fact that the run up to Christmas was just crazy busy for us all. This year I’m aiming to participate in both Living Arrows and The Ordinary Moments, as when I was writing up all about our year last year, these posts captured both the…

Happy New Year and welcome back! I’ve been quiet on here throughout December, as I took part in Vlogmas. Uploading videos every day up until Christmas was hectic, and a huge learning experience. I captured so many memories and it was wonderful to take part in. It did make me realise how much I love Youtube, but I also missed blogging, and particularly taking photographs. I am gutted that I missed uploading our Me & Mine Project for December, but I literally took no family photos all month. With that in mind, I thought I would do a round up…

This is somehow the last post of 2017? I honestly can’t believe it. I say it every month but it feels like the whole month has flown by in a flash and I’m not quite sure where it goes. December however, seems to step the madness up a level. Between Christmas plays, lunches, non uniform days, and various other school events I feel like my feet haven’t touched the floor since I wrote my last post. As a result of this, I have some pretty tired kids, who seem to be sleeping in later – yes it’s never been known…

This month has sort of flown by but when you are waiting for something exciting (CHRISTMAS!) it’s also kind of dragged. It’s been a good month, busy as always. As I’ve said before life seems to just be busy now, I think I just need to work out how to handle it better. I’ve had an exciting month where I went to London for the day to a wonderful event ran by Mumsnet and even managed to take a tube for the first time by myself (I get how sad that sounds). Annoyingly although the event was amazing, I ended…

I would say we are quite a competitive family – I actually look forward to when the kids are a bit older so we can pick teams and go head to head during board games. Ell especially is a big kid and loves any toy that he can get down on the floor and play with the kids. I’m not sure who was more excited when we received the Power Rippers 2 in 1 competition set – Ell or the kids. It has been set up so many times since we received it and they’ve had hours of fun with…
