Lalaloopsy Crumbs Sugar Cookie Doll | Review

Lalaloopsy Crumbs Sugar Cookie Doll | Review

It has been a funny old half term. The kids have had a week and three days off, and the majority of them have been pretty horrible weather – between storms and grey days, there has been a lot of indoor time and Netfix watching.

Along with MC2 which I mentioned that Izzie loved, she is also very into Lalaloopsy. She loved the characters, and was excited to find out that Netflix have now released a new range of large dolls based on the series.

Izzie actually owns some Lalaloopsy baby dolls, but they are totally made of plastic and so she was so pleased that this one has ‘real’ hair that she can brush. There are four different dolls to collect, and each one comes with a hair brush and a pet.

We recieved Crumbs Sugar Cookie, who has bright pink hair, and a pet mouse – and don’t forget the signature Lalaloopsy buttons for eyes (she is suitable from age 3+). The Lalaloopsy dolls original backstory is that they magically came to life once their last stitch was sewn. Each doll is unique with the fabrics they are sewn from, and so Lalaloopsy teaches children that everyone is unique with their own style and personality.

I think that this is a lovely message to convey to children – it is a very sweet programme to watch and Izzie loved playing with her doll – once silly Mummy realised she was wearing a hairnet in the packaging and released her lovely pink curls – doh!

Crumbs Sugar Cookie loves to bake – she is the best baker in Lalaloopsy land. Izzie was also kindly sent a lovely apron, chefs hat and oven glove set along with a kit to make her own Halloween cookies.

We had some lovely Mummy/Daughter time whilst Ollie was at a party and Mason was napping and made some yummy witches hat cookies.

Izzie was so chuffed with her new doll, and spent ages playing with her – she now has pride of place on her bed.

Crumbs Sugar Cookie would be a lovely Christmas gift for any child who loves Lalaloopsy – or dolls in general. You can find her and the other dolls in the range here.

Disclaimer: We were very kindly sent a Lalaloopsy Doll, and some baking bits in exchange for an honest review. All photographs and opinions are as always my own.
