The Me & Mine Project – July 2017

The Me & Mine Project – July 2017

I was bit surprised when my phone reminded me the other day that it was time to write this months Me & Mine Project.

July has passed us by in a blur to be honest.

I think the run up to the end of the school year is always manic – theres so many things to remember and so many events going on.

We’ve had sports days, leavers presentations, a festival, a visit to the Lavender Farm, been duck racing, and had school visits and picnics in preparation for Ollie starting reception in September (how has that happened?).

Its been manic, stressful but also a whole lot of fun and we’ve made a lot of memories.

This last week has been much more chilled out, although I’ve had the most awful cough – so we’ve spent a lot of time at home chilling out and playing, and its been just what the doctor ordered. We’ve also nearly finished decorating the living room, which means downstairs is nearly finished.

Ell has been working longer hours, as he does this time of year, and I know we are all looking forward to our holiday in Cornwall next week – its only been 5 weeks since we got back from the last one but it seems a million years ago.

This months Me and Mine photos were taken at Cotswold Lavender – we managed to get there for opening time, and managed to get some photos without loads of people in the background – when we left at 11.30am it was really busy. I love the brightness of the Lavender against the grey sky – it did start to rain as we were leaving – its not a sunny July background, but very normal for the summer weather in the UK.
