It’s the end of February – we’ll actually it’s the beginning of March as I’m writing this – I forgot to take some family photos in February, but luckily Mother Nature sent along some snow and we managed to grab these!
February for me was the month of illness – mainly for me. I thought I’d done well getting this far without hardly even a sniffle but I then ended up with a tummy bug and then a cold and cough which made me ache all over.
Because of this, February felt like it was so battening down the hatches and staying in the warm. The last couple of weeks were bitterly cold, and it didn’t make the school runs particularly pleasant.
The kids had half term, and although we managed to get out and about a few times, it was lovely to have some quality time indoors in the warm – mainly in our PJs.
We ended the month with some amazing news, that we had been upgraded to the Disneyland Hotel for our holiday in March – I cried down the phone as I was so shocked and grateful. We have spent a lot of this month planning our holiday and we are now on countdown and cannot wait.
We also had the news that Ollie had his football place with a local team starting in April, and Izzie has been getting excited for Brownie Camp.
I’ve also realised that I only have 7 weeks until Mason starts preschool – it’ll be so weird not having him here two morning a week – I am going to feel totally lost as it’ll be the first time in nearly 8 years I haven’t had a little one at home with me – time to get cracking on another little I think. Watch this space, but in the meantime I’m looking forward to seeing what shots we can get for next month in Disneyland Paris.
