{The Ordinary Moments} #10 Spring has arrived

Spring has finally sprung!! I couldn’t be happier about it. The illness seems to be banished (touching wood like a crazy person) and we are all ready for the longer brighter days. I’m a day late with my ordinary moments post but we had a busy and productive weekend.

It was spent making the garden ‘spring’ ready. The garden path was power washed. We tidied the leaves away but unfortunately it was damp so I couldn’t hoover the artificial grass – that’s a job to look forward to for another day.  spring has arrived  spring has arrived

I had a quick tidy in the kids playhouse and the Little Tikes cars were power washed – we had a very happy littlest as he loves the cars.

Finally it was time to get the trampoline out of storage. We have the worlds tiniest garden, so it meant moving the playhouse onto the decking and moving the garden sofa to the patio outside the back door. That playhouse is SO heavy but we managed it.

Mason got to play on a trampoline for the first time the other day and he loved it so much. His face was just pure joy. I then and there made the decision to get the trampoline out for him – even though it means our garden doesn’t look as attractive, it is totally worth it for the entertainment and pleasure they get out of using the trampoline.spring has arrived

I managed to capture a few photos of the kids playing after school today. It was so lovely for them to come home and not even want to set foot in the house – all they wanted was to play in the garden. I love how happy they look playing outside and I can’t wait for many many more hours spent in the garden in the coming months.spring has arrived

Lovely photos, it has definitely been a week of spring and sorting outside for us too, we need a few weeks to get spring ready!

I am so envious of your garden photos! We can’t use ours until the patio is done – hopefully by the start of april – so your photos make me so happy! Look at the sunshine! x
