For the first time ever I’m not going to say how quickly January flew by – I swear it has lasted about 8 weeks! I was so gutted that I missed the December Me & Mine Project, we were just too busy enjoying Christmas and spending time together that we literally took no family photos at all. January is always a funny old month for our family – it is the run up to the anniversary of losing Sophie, and this year will mark 6 years. That alongside the Christmas decorations being gone, makes January a long, cold, grey month…

This month has sort of flown by but when you are waiting for something exciting (CHRISTMAS!) it’s also kind of dragged. It’s been a good month, busy as always. As I’ve said before life seems to just be busy now, I think I just need to work out how to handle it better. It is the end of the August – and nearly the end of the summer holidays. They have totally flown by. Tomorrow is September, the month where everything will change forever. It sounds dramatic I know, but when you have a child starting school, it suddenly seems such a huge thing. Ollie is totally ready. Being a December baby he is one of the older ones in his year group and he loves learning. It doesn’t make it easier, that my precious rainbow baby is all of a sudden big enough to go to school. We’ve had such a lazy…
