I’m Gemma and I’m a 33 year old SAHM to Izzie (born 2010), Ollie (born 2012) Mason (born 2015), Ottilie (born 2018) and wife to Ell. I am also an Angel Mummy to Sophie, who was sadly born sleeping in February 2012. I love being at home with my children, although at times they drive me mad and I also love to write and make videos, and this is where my blog and youtube channel comes in.
I am the writer and creator of the blog Gemma in the Cotswolds (formerly known as Somewhere After The Rainbow).
A little about me – I love anything beauty or fashion related and try to make an effort to look nice even though most mornings its a miracle if we get out the door on time. I love interiors, and am always plotting a project (or ten) around the house. Finally, taking photographs is a growing passion of mine – I’m not brave enough yet to take the camera off of auto mode, but I will learn how one day. I’ve always loved to write, and as a teenager always kept a diary. Even now I’m always partial to a new notebook or some stationary!
I first started this blog (lets face it, I came up with the name) when Ollie was little, and I wrote a couple of posts and lost inspiration. I relaunched my blog in the Summer of 2016, and I’ve enjoyed finding out about the wonderful world of blogging. I’ve recently undergone a name change to Gemma in the Cotswolds – apologies if there are still few bits of the site that haven’t swapped over yet – working around four children is a tricky one!
I love to make videos – you can find me over on YouTube, where I make blogs of our family life – although most of our day to day life can be found on Instagram – I have a particular love for Instagram stories!
I love capturing our day to day memories, and special moments, alongside the world of being Mum, and everything that comes with it. My only regret is that I wish I had started earlier, and recorded the memories of my children from them being tiny. I also blog about baby loss and our rainbow babies.
If you would like to work with me, I would love to hear from you. You can get in touch with me on any of the social media links above, or by emailing me email@example.com
Thankyou for visiting my little corner of the internet….
