Does anyone else with a seven year old ever feel like they have a mini teenager? Izzie is giving me some good glimpses of what the future holds – she’s obsessed with doing her hair, and what she wears already – although she does still let me pick her clothes for the most part. Most recently she has been utterly obsessed with the Netflix show MC2 – a show about a group of teenage girls who work for a female government organisation who are trying to protect the world. The series is very ‘geek chic’ – the girls all have…

I was recently asked to create a personalised phone case from Go Customized. They have a huge range on their websites for all different types of pohone from Apple to Samsung to HTC. Izzie is a big fan of any toy that you can collect. She regularly finds a new collection and manages to con my mum into buying her new ones on her weekly shop – the benefits of being the first born grandchild obviously. Lately NumNoms have been the favourite and I can see why. They are collectible, cute and smell lovely. Izzie has also been loving the…

All my children ave been animal obsessed – before they could say the names of the animals, they could make the noises that they make. We have a ridiculous collection of soft toys animals, and various books and plastic toys featuring different animals, but we have never ad any wooden ones. I love wooden toys – they can literally last for generations and they are timeless – my children love to play with toys that me and my brother played with as kids.  Imagine their delight when they opened a lovely parcel from SRI Toys  containing some lovely wooden animal toys.…
