Even though we don’t have anything too exciting going on in our day to day lives, life can be so hectic. I’m not sure if this is having three kids, having kids at school/preschool or just having kids in general. At the moment life is whizzing by in a blur of homework, play dates and housework – mainly that ever growing washing pile. The last few weeks have been a bit overwhelming and stressful and I haven’t linked up to The Ordinary Moments – mainly because I’ve been taking a bit of a step back, but also because things have felt really negative and I didn’t want that to be a constant theme on my blog. Theres not one particular thing that has been making things hard, just lots of random small things – like our damaged kitchen, the decluttering I’ve undertaken trying to make life a little easier on myself (and in turn just made a big mess),  and loads going on…

Spring has finally sprung!! I couldn’t be happier about it. The illness seems to be banished (touching wood like a crazy person) and we are all ready for the longer brighter days. I’m a day late with my ordinary moments post but we had a busy and productive weekend. It was spent making the garden ‘spring’ ready. The garden path was power washed. We tidied the leaves away but unfortunately it was damp so I couldn’t hoover the artificial grass – that’s a job to look forward to for another day.     I had a quick tidy in the kids…

This week has finally been illness free (YES!!) although hectic with a visit to the dentist, and parents evening. I think spring is finally in the air. This weekend we did manage to get out for some fresh air on Saturday. Izzie was so happy to be reunited with her best friend who we haven’t seen since they moved in January. We had a lovely walk at the local arboretum followed by a pub lunch. We had such a lovely time and all the kids behaved – obviously they had their moments.
