The Siblings Project – October 2017

I swear these posts come round quicker and quicker each month. We are well and truly into autumn now, although we are really enjoying some lovely mild weather. It seems like the last month has flown by. It always seems that way when the kids are at school. Life becomes a blur of school runs and homework and making sure the PE kits and swimming bags aren’t forgotten. I’m really looking forward to the holidays which will start on Wednesday, I can’t wait for a bit of a slower pace. I’m all too aware looking at these photos of the…

The Siblings Project – September 2017

It’s the middle of September and I’m excited for all things Autumn – expect all the coloured leaves photos in the next few months. I also can’t believe we are nearly on the countdown to Christmas! The last month for my three was a bit of a game changer. I have to say I was dreading the summer holidays as the last few months have been all about the arguing between Izzie and Ollie. I think that Izzie has been used to being the older, more dominant one and as Ollie has got bigger and found his own voice and…

The Siblings Project – August 2017

August – how are we halfway through already? I swear each month it comes around quicker than the last. August has been a lovely relaxed month for us. After the madness of the end of school and the sheer exhaustion from everything that went on, laid back August has definitely been very welcome. I’ve loved having all three kids at home – and loved the reduction in shouting from not having to get out the door in the mornings. We’ve spent our time playing at home in the garden when the weather has been ok (August, dude what’s the weather?),…

The Siblings Project – July 2017

It’s Mid July and that means it’s time again for The Siblings Project. This months photos are some of my favourite of my three that I’ve taken. I particularly love how cute they look in their matching wetsuits. We were actually given the smaller two last year by a lady on the beach whose children had outgrown them – there really are some lovely people in the world. July has been all about counting down the end of school and preschool. Even though we had a lovely break in Cornwall at the end of June (where this months photos were…

The Siblings Project – June 2017

I can’t believe we are now into June – halfway through 2017 already. The last month has flown by, in a blur of half term – a nice snotty one at that, sorting out the messy remnants of the kitchen renovation, various house projects, school functions and more ‘mum admin’ than I’d like. This month I have enrolled Mason at preschool for next Summer – and woah didn’t I freak out. He is definitely not a baby anymore, although we are still really struggling with his speech – he just grunts and nods and shakes his head. He’s actually regressed,…

The Siblings Project – May 2017

I’m two days late with this post due to having a malfunctioning MacBook charger and having all my siblings photos on the computer. It seems to have been the story of the last few months in that one thing after another seems to have stopped working or broken in our house. Project kitchen is finally complete and project living room has started. I feel like I have been a pants Mum to my three this month as both me and Ell have been preoccupied with getting the house sorted as quickly as possible. On the plus side, it means that…
